The Shy Girl

Masumi is a very shy 17 year old girl who really don't hang out out with anyone and always sat by herself at lunch. But one day this had changed. She sat down at lunch and did doodles in her book when all of the sudden..a soft male voice came in front of her.

"Um..excuse me? You mind if I sit here?", the 17 year old boy asked with honesty. Mariko looked at him and shook her head slowly as she was stunned by his beauty. "What are you drawing there?".

She didn't pay attention to him. She just parted her purple-pinkish hair and fixed the hood over her head. "M-my name is Mark..what's yours?". Mariko bit her lip and softly spoke, "M-Mariko." "Aw see there? That wasn't so bad was it?"They both shared a soft chuckle.

He walked up from the table and walked around to her side and sat down next to her and said, "Why must you hide your beautiful face with a hood?" He then placed his hand on her right hand that was holding the pencil. She gasped softly. They leaned forward together and shared a minutes worth of a kiss while everyone looked upon them.

Time felt like it was slowing down for Mariko..she was stunned that Mark had actually kissed her..she had never gotten kissed before by anyone. After the kiss was finished, Mariko began to tear up.

"Why are you crying? I would just hate it to see you cry.", Mark said compassionately. She tried to get words out of her mouth but none would. He took his right hand and wiped tears from her left eye. The dismissal bell rang after lunch and he ask Mariko if he could walk her to her class. She agreed and they walked. Half way to the class she ended up hugging him as hard as she could.

"Hey..hey..are you alright?", Mark said as he began to feel Marikos tears through his white T-shirt. "Its just that..I never met someone like you before.." He smiled and told her to get on his back and he piggy backed her to her class.
